Seoul Promotes Golf Education
Korean entrepreneur and an Australian group has launched a program group to encourage budding golfers in Korea. G&SM Academy and the Professional GolfersĄŻ International Golf Institute Australia signed an agreement this week to enable students seeking sports management or sports business to first take golf classes at designated universities in Korea then transfer to Griffith University in Queensland to complete their degree. ``This offers Korean Students a valuable opportunity to receive systematic and scientific training and education right here at home, said Matthew Kang, commissioner of the Seoul representative office of the state government of Queensland where Griffith University is located. The first academic program initiated next March and high school students and high school graduates are eligible to enroll regardless of their College Entrance Exam scores, Kang said.
